What is DARIAH-GR / DYAS?
DYAS — Research Infrastructure Network for the Humanities implements the mission of the Greek research infrastructure for the arts and humanities DARIAH-GR.
The infrastructure supports the Greek scientific communities of the arts and humanities and contributes to the development of research with the use of information technologies, expands the scope of research through the interconnection of distributed digital resources of various kinds, promotes access, use, creation and long-term preservation of research data in digital format and supports the exchange of knowledge, methods and work practices between scientific communities.
What is the National Infrastructure APOLLONIS?
APOLLONIS is the national infrastructure that supports and promotes digital arts and humanities, and language technology and innovation in Greece.
It arose from the partnership of the two infrastructure components CLARIN:EL and DARIAH-GR / DYAS and, in the current phase, has as its primary object to further consolidate the services of the two infrastructure components, within a framework of interoperability and mutual support. At the same time, Greece continues to participate in the corresponding European infrastructures.

1940s thematic activity
The 1940s thematic activity is a model application for editing, curating and indexing the metadata of digitized and digital-born collections and documents related to the 1940s in Greece, and for making them available in a common search platform.
ORCAH Open Researchers Community for the Arts and Humanities
ORCAH Open Researchers Community for the Arts and Humanities was developed by the Academy of Athens in collaboration with the School of Fine Arts and is supported by the Academy of Athens.
Humanities researchers, digital humanists and other cultural heritage professionals are encouraged to register with ORCAH and become a member of the ORCAH community.
Backbone Thesaurus (BBT) metathesaurus
An overarching metathesaurus for the humanities. Its aim is to define the top-level concepts (topics and hierarchies) that form a common basis for thesaurus building in an effort to satisfy the demands for objectivity and interdisciplinarity.
DYAS Humanities Resources Registries
Registries of entities (organizations or persons) in Greece and their collections (both physical and digital).
They were developed and are supported by the Academy of Athens, the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and the School of Fine Arts.
